Not sure about how to determine the best way to install your hood or what power hood you need? Martins of Harborough can help here and now...
Ideally duct out to the outside of your house using the correct size ducting - this is determined by the diameter of the hood; An extractor should change the air in the kitchen 8 to 12 times in one hour; You can calculate how powerful you need your extractor to be - multiply length of room x width x height. An average room is 25m3, the extraction rate for this would be 200-300m3/hour, the minimum, as per building requirements is 108m3/hour.
Don’t be apart of the 33% of people who took part in a recent poll that wished they had considered the noise level when choosing their cooker hood. Extractor noise levels are determined by the fan speed / power and note that the level quoted by the manufacturer is in the best case scenario!
Martins of Harborough are based in Leicester and can help with any of your enquiries.
